Bhakti Child is the first CD of bhakti rock recording artist Punnu Wasu. Born and raised in Hyderabad, India, Punnu began studying mantras at the age of 5. He inherited his generational gift from his father, Baba Surender Singh, a kirtan singer for over 45 years. Punnu is a master of vocals, harmonium, mandolin, and tabla. This CD was recorded with international musicians, merging the sounds of the ancient and sacred practice of kirtan with contemporary arrangements and instrumentation. It reveals a jazzy offering of devotion to the Divine and will take you on a journey to the center of your heart. Enjoy!
